Oliver Sandlin

AWDB in September 2008 and is a managing director of the firm. He leads the firms Austin office.
Prior to his work with
AWDB, Mr. Sandlin co-founded and served as President of ACA Partners
Securities, LP, a FINRA-member broker-dealer located
in Austin, Texas. He sold his interest in this business in 2006, and thereafter
continued as President of ACAPS
successor firm, Irvine, California-based Bridgemark
Capital, until joining AWDB. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Sandlin
served as a co-founder and partner of Austin Corporate Advisors, Inc., an
Austin-based transaction advisory and consulting firm.
Mr. Sandlins work experience includes the practice of
corporate, securities and tax law in Austin, Texas.
Prior to attending law school, he also worked as an accountant and consultant
with Arthur Andersen in Houston and became licensed as a Texas Certified Public
Accountant (license currently inactive). Mr. Sandlin has extensive experience
in structuring and executing private placement, merger & acquisition, and
other strategic transactions for middle-market privately-held and public
companies.
Mr. Sandlin earned
B.B.A. degrees in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University in 1990.
At A&M, he was a Presidents Endowed Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, and a member of the
College of Business Administration Fellows Program.
He additionally earned a J.D. degree from the University of
Texas School of Law in 1995. He is a past president and director of the
Capital City A&M Club, Inc., a 101-year-old nonprofit organization
representing the more than 10,000 Austin-area Aggies, and of the Capital City
A&M Foundation, Inc., the Capital City A&M Clubs 501(c)(3) fund management and
scholarship-granting affiliate.

7, 24, and 63 licenses with FINRA.
