John R. Boettiger
is
a Managing Director of Abshier Webb & Donnelly Investment Bankers.
Prior to joining Abshier
Webb Donnelly & Baker Investment Bankers, Mr. Boettiger was a publish
Research Analyst at several Houston based brokerage firms, including
Rotan-Mosle, Kemper / Everend Securities and Harris
Webb & Garrison. In these various positions he was directly involved in
numerous acquisitions, private placements, IPOs, Secondary Offerings, and
Convertible Debt transactions.
Mr. Boettiger was the
Corporate Director of Marketing Research at Intermedics,
Inc., a Texas-based cardiac pacemaker and implantable medical device
manufacturer. He has served as an Expert Witness in several medical device
legal proceedings, to include the Medtronic v. Arterial Vascular Engineering,
Inc. cardiac stent lawsuit. John also served on David Kessler, Food and Drug
Administration Commissioners 1995-96 Task Force which changed FDA Manufacturing Reporting
Practices.
Mr. Boettiger serves as
Vice Chairman of the Volunteer Advisory Board at Sea Center Texas, Lake Jackson
and is the Vice President (Programs) of the Brazoria County Cradle of Texas Chapter of Texas
Master Naturalists.
Mr. Boettiger received a
B.B.A. from St. Marys University in San Antonio, Texas in 1969, and,
an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1977. John was a Captain
in the U.S. Army and served on active duty for eight years and as a Company
Commander in Vietnam.
